Flyfire and Risemys host the “Innovation in Agriculture” event.

On November 28, 2025, the “Innovation in Agriculture” field event took place at the Risemys flight fields in Turin, Italy.

Flyfire joined the event as an invited partner together with Risemys, an ENAC-certified training and testing center for professional drone operations.

From talk to real field action

The event followed up on the June meeting in Turin at Sella Open Innovation, where industry players discussed the role of drones in agriculture and upcoming regulatory changes.

This time, the focus moved from discussion to real-world practice: participants could see agricultural drones working live in the field and better understand how these technologies can be used in everyday farming operations.

One year of collaboration between Flyfire and Risemys

For about a year, Flyfire has been working closely with Risemys, using its certified areas to test and develop drone technologies in a safe and controlled environment.

This collaboration has allowed Flyfire to:

  • test new hardware and software solutions;
  • validate technologies in real operating conditions;
  • carry out testing and deployment of Flyfire drones in certified locations.

Live demonstrations of agricultural drones

During the event, Andrea Vecco, Accountable Manager at Risemys, gave a technical briefing to guests and members of the press. This was followed by live demonstrations of next-generation agricultural drones, including spraying and distribution tasks.

The demonstrations took place at an important moment for the sector. In 2025, Italy introduced a new regulatory framework that officially recognizes agricultural drones and supports their legal use in precision farming.

Looking ahead

Flyfire thanks the Risemys team for the invitation and for the strong collaboration built over the past year. The company remains focused on developing safe, reliable, and scalable drone solutions, contributing to the growth of the Italian and European drone ecosystem.
